DENTELLE

Inspirated by Krésha’s travels and experiences, Dentelle is rooted in her passion, deep sea diving. This collection is an ode to the artistry and craftsmanship of India, and showcases modern glamour and classic sophistication. Aptly titled, Dentelle, this collection focuses on lace, a kind of braiding that is also seen on Sea Fans when macro diving.

Using her inspiration from Raja Ampat Islands in Indonesia, and research on crochet and lace- Krésha studied the complexity of the technique and decided to convert her vision into reality. A union of traditional fabrics, like organza, silk and bridal tulle with modern lines, each creation, drawn in by a sense of optimism has taken over 5 to 6 months to complete.

Peeling back layers and celebrating femininity, the hand embroidery using crystals and glass beading detailing is made to look like vintage lace. “I wanted to create a collection that's experiential, where the pieces are delicate and bold in imagination. I wanted to create a moment that speaks to fantasy and inspiration- this collection is a celebration of my favourite things, a mix of modern and fun blouses, techniques, and ideas I love,” says Krésha. Like a Sea Fan underwater, dancing to a rhythm, each piece, curves and sways on a silhouette.
